Celebrate Tradition and Passion with Ukrainian Dance

Founded in 1987, Windsor Barvinok is the sole Ukrainian dance group in the Windsor-Essex County area. Through captivating performances, authentic costumes, and vibrant music, we celebrate and share the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine, showcasing dances from various regions across the country.

Registration Cost

$250 + $50 Refundable Costume Deposit + $50 Refundable Bingo Deposit

The costume deposit will be returned once the dancer(s) has returned all of the costume(s) provided by the dance group. For returning dancers, the costume deposit can be rolled over to the next year.

The bingo deposit will be returned after successful completion of 2 bingo shifts either by a parent or dancer over the age of 18.

Interested in joining our group? Come by and sign up for our 2024-2025 season! All are welcome, no experience required!

Dancers can start as early as 4 years of age.

  • Juniors (age 4-7) practice from 4:00pm to 5:00pm

  • Intermediates (age 8-10) practice from 5:15pm to 6:15pm

  • Seniors (age 11-13) practice from 5:15pm to 6:15pm

  • Ensemble (age 14+) practice from 6:30pm to 8:30pm

With the ongoing war in Ukraine and many Ukrainians seeking refuge in Canada, we recognize our responsibility to foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming community. Our goal is to offer a sense of belonging, providing a space where newcomers and visitors can feel connected to their roots and find comfort in a place that feels like home.
